1THING: Glass Recycling Events Happening Around Pittsburgh

The Pittsburgh Resources Council is helping to make your spring clean go green!

With glass being removed from many residential recycling programs around the city, the PRC has announced different pop-up locations around Pittsburgh to recycle glass products.

The events will accept all colors of glass, bottles, and jars on scheduled Saturdays from 9 a.m-2 p.m. The events will not accept window glass, drinking glasses or stemware, or ceramics.

Here are all of the event locations that are already scheduled:

April 6: South Fayette Municipal Complex
April 13: Dormont Pool
April 27: Avalon Borough Park
May 4: Peters Township
May 11: Village Square Mall 
May 18: Collier Township Municipal Building 
June 1: Avonworth Park 
June 8:  Mt. Lebanon
June 22: South Fayette Municipal Complex
July 13: Murrysville Municipal Building
