PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - A national writer says it’s time for the Steelers to get rid of Ben Roethlisberger.

Brad Gagnon, with Bleacher Report, tells the PM Team Roethlisberger just doesn’t have it anymore and is "toast".

“He looks eight years older than he is, he’s playing five years older than he is, he looks older than Tom Brady, he looks older than Drew Brees,” said Gagnon.

“His body language indicated it as well,” Gagnon said pointing out to Roethlisberger’s performance in the first two games before he was injured

Gagnon also pointed out to the time when Roethlisberger said he was considering retiring, but Andrew Fillipponi  told him that was only because he wanted Offensive Coordinator Todd Haley to leave.

Gagnon says he thinks Cam Newton would be a good move for the Steelers.
