Aliquippa Native Ty Law Voted Into Pro Football Hall Of Fame

Former Steeler Alan Faneca was not voted in as a member of the Class of 2019

PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan/AP) – Saturday night added new names to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. And while former Steeler Alan Faneca was not voted in, Aliquippa native, Ty Law, is one of the members of the Class of 2019.

A starter as a freshman at the University of Michigan, Law was a first round pick of the New England Patriots in 1995 and also played with the Jets, Chiefs and Broncos.

He joins other inductees Ed Reed, Champ Bailey, Johnny Robinson, Tony Gonzalez, Kevin Mawae, Pat Bowlen, and Gil Brandt.

Faneca, a first round draft pick for the Steelers in 1998, had been nominated for the Hall of Fame three previous times as well
