McCutchen Signs 3-Year Deal With Phillies

The deal is reportedly worth $50 million

PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - Multiple reports out of the MLB winter meetings that former Pirates MVP and All-Star Andrew McCutchen has signed a deal with the cross-state rival Philadelphia Phillies reportedly worth $50 million. The deal is pending a physical and includes a club option for a fourth year.

The Pirates traded McCutchen to the San Francisco Giants last and he finished the last two months of the season in New York after being traded to the Yankees.

McCutchen was a free agent after the end of last season.

McCutchen hit .255 with 20 homeruns in 155 games in 2018 with the Giants and Yankees.
