(93.7 The Fan) - Antonio Brown is apologizing for the negative attention he brought to New England during his brief stint with the Patriots.

The currently out of work wide receiver posted an apology to team owner Robert Craft on Instagram Tuesday morning:

“Mr. Kraft I want to apologize sincerely to you and your organization! All I wanted to be was an asset to the organization; sorry for the bad media and the drama. Thank you sincerely AB."

Brown played one game with the Pats making four catches for 56 yards and a touchdown.

He was then released after a second woman came forward accusing Brown of sexual misconduct.

An NFL investigation into sexual misconduct claims is ongoing.
