PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - Many of Le’Veon Bell’s teammates vented their frustration Wednesday after the all-pro running back didn’t join the Steelers but, Antonio Brown is calling for peace between Le’Veon Bell and well the rest of Pittsburgh.

Guard Ramon Foster said after practice on Wednesday “At least have the courtesy, at least say something,” Foster added. “I guess it is a little bit different, a little bit tiresome now. I’m tired of the antics.”

But Brown said on Friday that the team is family and they should all want what is best for each other no matter what

"No one wins when the family feuds. At the end of the day, we are family. If he's here or if he's not, we want the best for him. It's not about pointing fingers & fighting amongst each other. We are a core group that should respect & love each other regardless of the situation.”

Bell did not report for the first regular season practice Monday and was also a no-show Wednesday after it was reported he had told center Maurkice Pouncey he would be reporting.

After Bell and his agent were unable to come to a long term agreement with the Steelers, the team once again placed the franchise tag on him worth $14.5 million. He needs to sign and play by week 10 to be considered a free agent for the 2019 season.
