DETROIT (93.7 The Fan) - There is a lot on the line for the Penguins when they face off against the Red Wings in Detroit Tuesday night but they’ll have to do it without another one of their top defensemen.

Pens coach Mike Sullivan says Brian Dumoulin is out day-today with a lower-body injury.

If the Penguins beat the Red Wings they’ll clinch a playoff spot for the 13th straight year, the longest active streak in the NHL.

A win will also pull the Penguins even with the New York Islanders for second in the Metropolitan Division.
