PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson, who escaped discipline after taking out Penguins defenseman Brian Dumoulin in game 2, will have a disciplinary hearing Wednesday before the NHL’s department of player safety.

Wilson knocked Pens forward Zach Aston-Reese out of game 3 in the second period with a high hit. It broke Aston-Reese’s jaw and left him with a concussion. There was no penalty on the play.

Wilson's hearing will be with George Parros, Director of Player safety, who was in town last for Game 3.

We could find out Wilson’s fate as early as late Wednesday morning.
