Former Pitt Standout, Darrelle Revis Retires From The NFL

His senior year at Aliquippa, he was the AA player of the year, a freshman All-American at Pitt and 7 time NFL Pro Bowler.

PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - His senior year at Aliquippa, he was the AA player of the year, a freshman All-American at Pitt, Super Bowl champion and 7 time NFL Pro Bowl cornerback. 

Wednesday morning, Darrelle Revis retired from football.  The 33-year-old saying in a statement released on social media:

Revis, who spent a majority of career with the New York Jets, will be eligible for Pro Football Hall of Fame voting in five years.

He was a member of the Super Bowl XLIV winning New England Patriots.
