PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - On Black and Gold Uncensored hosted by Paul Zeise and Zach Banner, Banner brought Steelers quarterback Devlin Hodges on the air with him.

Hodges is very excited for the opportunity if he is QB1 Sunday night against the Chargers.

“It’s honestly a dream come true to be on a team and a chance to start in a game, it’s wild.”

Hodges, nicknamed as “duck” explained how the name became a thing.

“They call me duck because my coach called me duck not knowing about the duck calling contest which I won.”

Hodges continued about how he has won multiple but the most famous one was...

“The 2009 World Championship Duck Calling Contest I won. I started hunting at 5 years old,” said Hodges.

Hodges says it’s different having to adjust to the big city in Pittsburgh and how he lives 15 minutes outside of the city and the traffic he has to deal with in Pittsburgh is different. “The only traffic I had to deal with in Alabama was a tractor,” said Hodges.
