PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – After being placed on the Family Medical Emergency Leave List on Wednesday, June 20 Pirates outfielder, Corey Dickerson is back in Pittsburgh and has officially rejoined the ballclub.

Prior to leaving the team earlier this week, Dickerson had one of the hottest bats in the Pirates lineup while playing at home, hitting .314 (11-35) in his last nine games at PNC Park.Dickerson enters Saturday leading the team in hitting (.302), OPS (.789), hits (78) and is tied with Gregory Polanco for the team lead in doubles (18). He has also been a solid assent for the Pirates defensively, recording a career high five outfield assists this season while not being charged with an error.

With Dickerson being back on the major league roster, the club will send down 26 year old utility man, Adam Frazier. In 58 games with the Pirates this season, Frazier is hitting .239 with three home runs and eight runs batted in. This will be the second time Frazier has been sent down to AAA Indianapolis this season. Frazier is hitting .200 (6-30) in the eight games that he has played with the Indians this season.
