PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan)- James Harrison was back at it again yesterday.

The former Steelers linebacker stirred the pot before the season, saying on FS1's "Undisputed" that he wouldn't be so sure that Le'Veon Bell shows up for the first week of practice before the Steelers Week 1 matchup against the Browns (a prophetic statement). Harrison went back to the well Tuesday to discuss more Le'Veon Bell.

He said that if he were Bell, he would return to the Steelers in time for season eligibility, practice all week, and then fake an injury in order to preserve himself for his future

The Fan Morning Show with Colin Dunlap, Chris Mack and Jim Colony reacted to this Wednesday morning and Colin started by proclaiming that if Le'Veon Bell thought his teammates and Steelers fans were upset with him now, wait until he pulls this off. The level of hate and disrespect would rise to meteoric levels. But would Bell really do this?

Chris wonders how much influence Harrison has over Bell. These guys are ex-teammates and Harrison floated the idea of Bell missing games on FS1 before and Bell lived out Harrison's words. Is he listening to Harrison and taking everything he says into serious consideration?

Jim thinks that while on the surface this seems like a ridiculous idea, he wouldn't put anything past Bell.

The guys think that if Bell were to do this, it would be such a slime ball move that NFL owners may stay away from Bell in the offseason. But here's the other point...doesn't this hinder Bell? What if he comes back and suffers an actual injury? Wouldn't many think that he is simply living out Harrison's ideas? Would anyone believe him? And if that were his plan, would anyone in the Steelers front office have accused Bell of doing this purposefully or connected those dots had Harrison not said anything publicly?

Bell may have benefitted from Harrison's thinking and professing to FS1 the first time around (who knows if Bell actually listened or talked with Harrison) but it seems like Harrison only hurt Bell this time.
