PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan)- Among the many good things that happened on the gridiron for the Steelers Sunday in their 23-16 win over the rival Ravens was backup QB Josh Dobbs stepping in for the temporarily-shaken Ben Roethlisberger on a 2nd and 20 from the five yardline.

Fresh off the bench, Dobbs delivered a 22-yard completion to WR JuJu Smith-Schuster for a first down. He then immediately ceded to Roethlisberger after the play, making his connection to JuJu essentially a "mic drop."

Steelers guard Ramon Foster joined The Fan Morning Show on Tuesday and took us through what was going on in his head before and after the play.

"He comes in and gives the play and I look at him sideways like, 'Did you really just call that? I like you and all but I don't know if you're ready for this,' because you think of a cold quarterback coming in, not ready to throw, we're going to run the ball and punt," said Foster. "No, he calls a pass [play] and not only a pass but also we're close to the endzone so I'm thinking...man, don't drop the ball, don't get sacked, don't get a safety and he actually throws it. I looked at him like, 'Wow. That just happened.' That's got to be one of the most bizarre but coolest plays I've ever had."

Ramon also took us through how condensed the schedule is for the Steelers this week in preparation for a Thursday night game against the Panthers.

"Today turns into a Wednesday/Thursday in the same day and tomorrow is the Friday/Saturday for us. Thursday night is just one of those things to where everybody has to do it. I don't know if I like it more in the beginning of the season or the later part of the season. We have a really good team we've got to play too this Thursday. Everything moves very quickly."

Foster said fans what to see more and more football so Thursday night games are probably good for the league. Foster is also well-aware of the latest Le'Veon Bell news and tweets but just can't spend time focusing on it.

"The alerts come across my phone. I see it. It's talked about a lot. But what do you do? I've got to prepare for Carolina this week on a short week so I can't give it too much energy."
