Pittsburgh (93.7 The Fan) - Penn State running back Saquon Barkley arrived at the NFL combine in Indianapolis as the most celebrated Nittany Lion player since Courtney Brown and Lavar Arrington went one-two in the 2000 draft.  With the Cleveland Browns holding the first and fourth selections, Barkley was asked on Thursday about the possibility of playing for them.

"That would be awesome," Barkley said in front of an overflow crowd of reporters, though he made it clear he's open-minded. "Any team.  Any team.  Any team that wants to draft me is a blessing to me.  If it's the Browns or the Giants or wherever I get drafted, I'm going to come in with my head low and ready to work."

Barkley weighed in at 233 pounds.  During Thursday's bench press for scouts and team officials he put up 225 pounds 29 times, matching the best for a running back.  On Friday, he and the other running backs will be timed in the 40 yard dash.  He is expected to run a sub-4.4.
