Listen to your team news NOW.

"I have to have enough stabilization and strength or else surgery will be required,” said Conner.

Conner missed Sunday's game due to an AC joint sprain he suffered against the Browns.

He said that he really missed being out on the field with his teammates on Sunday.

"It’s killing me that I can’t be out there. I just have to get stronger and not have any setbacks."

Conner said that he participated in non contact workouts to stay game ready.

"I’ve been doing cardio work for about a week now. I was working out in the weight room this morning. Keeping the heart rate up and trying to stay as close to game ready as possible.”

As for the game on Sunday against the Bengals, Conner liked that they got the win and he really liked the touchdown James Washington had from Devlin Hodges.

"Devlin came in and threw a nice pass but James (Washington) did most of the work after he caught the ball.”

As of now, Conner said that coach Tomlin has not informed the team who will be the starting quarterback on Sunday against the Browns.
