Steelers Tomlin Says Team Wasn’t Ready for Prime-time

FOXBORO, MA (93.7 the Fan) – Mike Tomlin started out his post-game news conference following a 33-3 Steeleres loss to the Patriots saying his team wasn’t ready for prime-time.

Tomlin also said they didn’t have a good enough plan or execution of that plan.

“They made the significant plays, we accept responsibility for it," Tomlin added.  "It’s humbling, it sucks,” 

Injury news as Maurkice Pouncey is being evaluated for an ankle injury, JuJu Smith-Schuster for a toe injury, T.J Watt has a hip injury and Joe Haden with a shoulder.  Tomlin said he would have more information on injuries during his news conference on Tuesday that you can hear live on 93.7 the Fan.

The Steelers head coach was also asked about not using fullback Roosevelt Nix on short yardage and about Antonio Brown signing with the Pats, among other things.  You can listen here.
