174 riders began Stage 4 of the 2018 Tour de France as they raced from La Baule to Sarzeau and the Columbian Fernando Gaviria came away with his 2nd stage win on this year's tour.

A crash with 5 km to go allowed Gaviria to get back into the race and he was able to outsprint both Peter Sagan and Andre Greipel during the last 4-Km of the race toward the finishing line.

Despite Gaviria's 2nd stage victory this year, Van Avermaet of BMC Racing Team was able to retain the Yellow Jersey for another day.

Stage 5 of the 2018 Tour de France will take place Wednesday as the riders will race from Lorient to Quimper.  Coverage of the Stage will start at 8 am on NBC Sports Network.
