PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan)- It was an idea taken from Stan Savran and Guy Junker back in the day and was discussed many times over the air to gauge interest.

On Friday, it finally came to fruition. The Fan Morning Show switched shifts with Starkey & Mueller and took the show to the Amick residence in Presto, Pa from 2-6 pm.

People showed up to the house by the hundreds and all had a great time hanging out even in the hot weather.

Colin and Jim talked about the Pirates, their struggles and why people are staying away from games at PNC Park this season. They also went over the potential Jack Johnson signing and how fans are split on whether this is a good decision or not.

On lighter notes, Jim shared that he went golfing before the show and it didn't go well. Also, Paul Zeise showed up to the event and came on the show to share a story about being a cab driver and having two people ask him to drive them to Chicago from Liberty Ave.

AT&T Sports Net analyst Michael McKenry joined the show to talk about the Pirates as well. As always, he gave us great insight as to how to handle a young pitching staff as a catcher and how Josh Bell can correct his struggles.

You can listen to the interview with McKenry below.
