Flyers Injury During Practice

Philly top line center hurt during drills

April 17, 2018 - 4:13 pm

(93.7 The Fan) - While the Pens were dealing with Patric Hornqvist’s upper-body injury, the Flyers hurt one of their own at practice Tuesday morning.  First line center Sean Couturier collided with defenseman Radko Gudas during practice as Couturier had to be helped off the ice.

The 25-year-old Couturier was working with a changed top line with Jakob Voracek and Claude Giroux before being injured by Gudas.  The Flyers had no update after practice with Flyers players saying everything from Couturier is fine to they are concerned.

Philadelphia sports reporter Jamie Apody caught the accident on camera.

Game four of the best of 7 series is Wednesday night at 7 p.m. in Philadelphia.
