Despite returning to practice this week, it appears that Steelers tackle Marcus Gilbert will miss his second straight game with a knee injury.

Gilbert did not play in Sunday's 33-18 win over the Cleveland Browns at Heinz Field. He did, however, participate fully in practice Wednesday. However, Gilbert was limited Thursday and did not practice at all Friday. Officially, Gilbert is listed as doubtful for the game.

If he is unable to play, it is likely that reserve lineman Matt Feiler will make another start, this time against one of the NFL's best defenses in Baltimore.

Pittsburgh's secondary may be stretched thin Sunday, as well. Cornerback Artie Burns rolled his ankle in Friday's practice an was limited. He is listed as questionable. Burns' injury adds to his recent issues, as he did not play a defensive snap against the Browns after being late to a team walk-through the night before the game.

"I think I'll be perfect," Burns said. "Just need to get it treated before Sunday... I've got to go out there and make some plays with the opportunities that I get."

On top of Burns' questionable status, cornerback Coty Sensabaugh is also questionable with a turf toe injury. He did, however, go full in Friday's practice.

"I'm going to keep mentally and physcially preparing," Sensabaugh. "We'll see what Sunday brings. I'm feeling good right now, but have to keep getting better."

Sensabaugh and Burns worked in a rotation the last few weeks, as it has become increasingly obvious that Pittsburgh's coaching staff is losing faith in Burns, a former first-round pick.

"I feel like Artie's good, mentally," Burns said. "He's continuing to work every day. That's something everyone goes through. it's a competition league. There's going to be ups and downs. We all have to fight."

"I can't even tell you that," Burns said, when asked if there would be another rotation. "I don't even know."

Defensive lineman Cam Heyward missed Friday's practice with an illness, but his availability was not listed for Sunday, meaning he is exptected to play. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, dealing with a broken index finger on his left hand, did not practice Wednesday, but will play when the AFC North rivals sqaure off Sunday afternoon.
