Jerome Bettis says it’s hard to believe that Ben Roethlisberger is the problem when it comes to Antonio Brown.

The Steelers Hall of Fame running back told TMZ sports that he knows Roethlisberger and that “He’s a stand up guy.”

While Bettis admitted he isn’t in the locker room, he would have to witness it himself to believe Roethlisberger was the problem.

Bettis also told TMZ sports he thinks Le’Veon Bell will soon be the highest paid running back in the NFL and that the Steelers will still make the playoffs in 2019 even without Brown and Bell.

Jerome Bettis played with Ben Roethlisberger and they won a Super Bowl together in 2005, Bettis’ final season.
