PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Josh Bell is back in the lineup Wednesday afternoon after a stint on the 10-day disabled list. To make room for him, the Pirates have sent Jose Osuna back to Triple-A Indianapolis.

Bell last played July 27 when he suffered an oblique injury and will bat 7th for the Bucs.

“The work he’s done inside, he’s got that [batting> machine cranked up. He’s hitting velocity, he’s hitting spin, right handed, left handed, he’s out there early yesterday, he’s taking ground balls off the bat, ground balls, making throws so he’s ready to play. We’ll see how he plays,” said Pirates Manager Clint Hurdle before Wednesday afternoon’s game.

Also, Infielder Adeiny Hechavarria will make his Pirates debut Wednesday afternoon at Shortstop. He was claimed off waivers from Tampa Monday.

Chris Archer will make his second start for the Bucs and will hope to improve from his Pirates debut where struck out six but only lasted 4.1 innings.

First Pitch is at 3:10 p.m. on The Fan
