PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster has been named the team’s most valuable player.

It is the first time honor has been given to Smith-Schuster who is in his 2nd year with Pittsburgh.

Smith Schuster has 106 receptions (good enough for 1st in the AFC), six touchdown catches and 1,389 receiving yards so far in 2018.

The 22-year-old Smith-Schuster took blame for Sunday’s loss against New Orleans after his fumbled the ball while the Steelers were driving to tie or win the game in the remaining seconds of the game.

But that didn’t seem to deter any of his teammates who selected him to by the team MVP.
