Hendrick Motorsports Chase Elliott will start seventh followed by Austin Dillon and Daniel Suarez. Elliott’s teammate Jimmie Johnson rounded out the top 10.

The race is Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Friday was a good day all around for Stewart Haas Racing as their Xfinity Series driver Cole Custer took the checkered flag in the ToyotaCare 250 at Richmond Raceway.

Custer beat Team Penske’s Austin Cindric by 2.639-seconds to pick up his first short track win and fourth win of his career.

“This one means a lot,” said Custer.  “We hadn’t had a short-track win yet.  We’ve struggled a lot at short tracks, but this helps.  We had a great car.”

“I tried my best to hold him off, but they were obviously the class of the field,” said Cindric.

JR Motorsports Justin Allgaier finished third, followed by Tyler Reddick and Ryan Sieg.

Zane Smith, John Hunter Nemechek, Chase Briscoe, Riley Herbst and Justin Haley rounded out the top 10.
