PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - While injured defensemen Kris Letang and Brian Dumoulin are progressing, Penguins coach Mike Sullivan says they have not made the trip to Buffalo and will not play this weekend.

Sullivan spoke after the morning skate Friday before the Penguins take on the Sabres. He says Dumoulin skated alone yesterday, “that’s encouraging.”

While Letang did not stake, “they’re both making progress.”

The Penguins are on the road for back-to-back games, Friday in Buffalo and Saturday against the Montreal Canadiens.
