PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan)- Just when you think you've gotten away from Le'Veon Bell and his association with the Steelers, he speaks out against them.

Bell sat down with Sports Illustrated's Jenny Vrentas for an exclusive interview for "SI TV" and was asked about everything that went down last year with the Steelers.

"I was thinking like I was just not going to come Week 1. That was my original goal, original plan in my head," said Bell. "It just happened, certain things leading up to Week 1 was like, 'Why'd that happen? Why'd you say that? You know what I'm trying to do.'"

"At first I was thinking like I didn't want to play camp, OTA's, I wanted to conserve my body, I'm like I'm not playing. When Week 1 come, I'm going to come. But then things kind of led up to Week 1, so I'm like, 'I'm not going to come Week 1. Things after Week 1, there were just certain build-ups  just not making me feel comfortable. I can't even remember little details or little things that [were> happening but just leading up to Week 1 or when they [were> in camp and I wasn't and I was training just leading up to that. It was kind of like, 'OK, I'm cool. Then Week 2, I'm cool.' Then it got a point where it's like, 'Regardless of what they say, I'm going to just bite the bullet, I'm going to come back after the bye week.'"

"Then new information came out that was real important to me, I heard that I didn't even have to play and [they> wouldn't have to use another franchise tag on me. So that's when I got to the point [of>, 'Oh yeah, if I don't [have> to come back, then I'm not going to come back.'"

Bell also said that the Steelers don't treat players like "a human" saying that all they want you to do is work out and play football. You can't play video games, play basketball or be yourself on social media.
