PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey and guard Ramon Foster are coming to the defense of their quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger after his credibility was recently questioned.

Pouncey posted the following on his Instagram account Wednesday morning:

“I’ve been with Ben going on 10yr I swear on my kids he is a true LEADER!! sucks to see players who leave and are mad at the organization now try and point fingers like they are perfect! But this is the world we live in now !”

The player Pouncey is referring to is former running back Josh Harris, who claims Ben Roethlisberger fumbled a ball on purpose during a game against the Cincinnati Bengals in 2014 to get back at then offensive coordinator Todd Haley for wanting to run a play while Roethlisberger wanted to take a knee.

Foster chimed in on the post saying, “It’s wild the world we live in…no one has asked the people talking ‘what was your role in this’. Everyone talking in these interviews is innocent huh> If we really told the other side they would be crickets. FOH!!!!”

Harris played 5 games for the Steelers in 2014 rushing 9 times for a total of 16 yards.
