(93.7 The Fan) Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said he “took offense” to the repeated allegations from Myles Garrett towards Mason Rudolph.

Tomlin was on ESPN’s First Take with Stephan A. Smith to defend his quarterback from the accusations of him using a racial slur towards Garrett.

Tomlin would say that the accusations are serious and no one has backed up Garrett in his statements.

Through many discussions with the Cleveland Browns and their personnel, Tomlin said he never heard someone mention the possibility of a slur being used.

The NFL made their own investigation regarding the situation, but no such evidence was found.

They said in a statement that there was no player from either team came forward with the accusation and no one mentioned it in postgame comments.

Tomlin also said that his does not know what Rudolph will do regarding the accusations going forward, but would not blame him for defending his reputation in any way possible.
