PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - PM Team host Chris Mueller discussed about the possibiltiy of the Tampa Bay Rays playing games in Montreal as well as Tampa Bay in the future during Wednesdays show.

Stream MLB games now on fuboTV.

"Does this sound like a good deal for anyone else other than Major League Baseball or the Rays ownership?" said Mueller.

The Rays are one of the best teams in baseball with a record of 43-31 just 3.5 games back of the first place Yankees in the American League East. However, attendance is down at Tropicana field.

“15 year old Chris would say cool baseball in 2 cities this rocks! 34 year old jaded cynical Chris says this is just sticking it to a city in Tampa where logistically it’s a nightmare to get to one of the crappiest facilities outside of Oakland," said Mueller.

Major League Baseball won't come out and say this but it's pretty clear the reasoning behind this move.

“It should flat out say Major League Baseball Is Desperate For Money.”

"I would have no problem with this if there was an ownership split, have them flip the bill, not the people who are tax payers. Instead it’s going to be here we are going to have you holding the bag as always. You pay for a stadium, it won’t be as expensive because we don’t want to put a roof on it. Oh and by the way we don’t know how many games you are going to play at either stadium."
