Pens Historian Bob Grove of Pittsburgh Hockey Now joined Andrew and Ron in his weekly spot and Andrew asked him which team is the favorite to come out of the Eastern Conference and Bob didn't hesitate when he said Tampa Bay. "They are the cup favorites going in, but the Penguins are still the Champions until someone knocks them off," said Grove.  Bob believes that this Penguins team can still do it and nationally people will say that the Penguins will be tough on Tampa Bay, but the Lightning are in the conversation.  Media and Fans are going to look at what the teams have done since the beginning of the season and Tampa Bay has been more consistent all year and made the big splash move at the deadline by bringing in Ryan McDonagh and J.T Miller. "I think a Pittsburgh-Tampa Bay matchup in an Eastern Conference Final will be incredible to watch," said Grove.

Recapping the trade deadline Bob Grove stated he is not a big fan of Rick Nash and if the Boston Bruins don't have Patrice Bergeron they are in serious trouble because he means everything to that team.  He also said New Jersey helped themselves and will be a factor as they start to get healthy, Columbus didn't help themselves dramatically but they brought in Thomas Vanek to help the Power Play and Ian Cole to help the Penalty Kill and he found it interesting that the Washington Capitals sat on the sideline at the trade deadline.  The four teams that all got better and are the teams to beat in the Eastern Conference are the Penguins, Blue Jackets, Bruins and New Jersey.  And Grove doesn't know what to think of the Flyers right now.

Also on the show, Andrew and Ron discuss Pitt Basketball wrapping up the regular season in South Bend against Notre Dame and the what is ahead for the future of the program after this season.

And Bob Pompeani of KDKA-TV joins the guys in his weekly spot and they react to Kevin Colbert's comments at the NFL Combine about Ryan Shazier not playing in 2018 and Bryant's name was never on the trade block and will never be there.  They also talk Penguins and wrap up the trade deadline and the Hornqvist signing.  And they talk about the state of Pitt Athletics.
