Friday night is Fan Appreciation Night at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, PA with four divisions of racing and fireworks taking place at “The Action Track”.

Michael Norris is off to a fantastic start in the DIRT Car Late Model division, winning three out of four features this season.  Last week Norris held off Dave Hess Jr. and Chub Frank to take the checkered flag. Mike Pegher Jr. has two podium finishes this season and will be in the hunt to challenge Norris tonight.

A tight points battle is shaping up in the Sprint Car division.  George Hobaugh holds a 2-point edge over A.J. Flick with 2016 Champion Jack Sodeman Jr. just one point behind.  All are looking over their shoulders at Brandon Matus, who has finished in the top 10 three straight times.  Matus two podium finishes in that span.  Despite missing opening night in April, Matus has climbed into the top 5 of the season standings.

Rex King Jr. sits atop the Modified division, holding a 9-point lead over second-place Dave Murdick. Murdick is on a roll however, finishing in the top 5 in all four starts, including two third-place finishes. Garrett Krummert sits behind them in third.

In the Pro Stocks division, a mere six points separates the top three drivers.  Tyler Dietz sits atop the standings after winning three races this season.  Chasing Dietz are defending champion Corey McPherson and Noah Brunell, who is looking for his first victory of the season.

Pit gates open at 4 p.m. with the grandstands opening at 5 p.m. and the racing set to start at 7:30 p.m.

Grandstand admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, $10 for students and children 10 and under get in free.  Pit passes are available for $30 ($25 for DIRTcar members).
