PITTSBURGH (93.7 The FAN) - Steelers running back James Conner joined The PM Team and Arthur Moats for his weekly spot on The James Conner Show and with the wildcat playing a prominent role in the teams win over the Bengals, he was asked how he felt when he first found out they'd be using it.

"I was super excited.  Jaylen is super talented...for us to be on the field at the same time and taking turns just going back and forth...just take your pick."

As for whose idea it was to use the wildcat this week, James said "Just talking in our running back room with Coach Faulkner."

James also updated us on his status having left the game at one point with an ankle injury.  James told us "I'm feeling fine" and "I'll be ready to go."

Looking at stories across the league, James was asked for his thoughts on the league suspending Oakland Raiders linebacker for the season and how he felt about the news.

"It's been going on for a while now, what he's been doing," James said.  "I'm not arguing about it.  I just think it's not a way you play football.  I'm just not a fan of that type of play.  I don't feel bad."
