PITTSBURGH (93.7 The FAN) - Our NFL Insider John Clayton joined The PM Team for his weekly segment and when we took a look around the league with him, he offered an opinion on Giants starter Eli Manning that many in New York probably believe at this point.

Clayton was asked if it looks like Eli's career is done and he answered simply "I think so."

Clayton went on to add that "It's so noticeable.  It was noticeable to a degree last year but you gave him the reprieve because three of his top four receivers were hurt."

You can count Clayton among those who agree with Odell Beckham Jr's assessment of his quarterback.

"Odell Beckham Jr. had to pay a fine for basically saying what everybody is seeing, he can't get the ball over the top."

John also helped us preview Steelers-Bengals this week and whether or not Vontaze Burfict is good or bad for the NFL.

"Well he's good for the NFL and I think he's great in this series...Here's the one thing that he's added to the Bengals that really hasn't been there before.  The Steelers would professionally go and play Cincinnati home and away and they'd just kind of bully them...Vontaze Burfict is the first Bengals player to really say, 'Uh-uh, we're not allowing that to happen,' and that's positive from the Bengals standpoint because it gives them a little bit of an attitude.  Now the problem is he does things at the wrong time that can cost them games."
