PITTSBURGH (93.7 The FAN) - He played with the Steelers back when they won Super Bowls and also played during the early days of Antonio Brown's career, which makes Max Starks uniquely qualified to talk about what to do with the controversial wide receiver.

Starks joined Andrew Fillipponi of The PM Team and was asked, point blank, would he trade Antonio Brown?

"In my personal opinion, I don't think so, but I know there's a lot of differing opinions out there."  Starks added that "You look at the production Antonio has had, and yes he has had a ton of it, but he's also had a ton of personal issues, we get it.  But at the same time, he's an individual that I think can mature, can grow from this, but I also think, in his position, there's not too many great years left for him."

Asked how they'd reach a point where everyone can get past Brown's latest transgressions, Starks said it would be a group effort.

"I think it's more so a couple of individuals coming to the table and agreeing amongst each other.  The onus, I don't believe is all on Antonio and I think that's where we have that misconception because of his actions...I think that there's more than just one, two or three individuals involved in this process."
