PITTSBURGH (93.7 The FAN) - The second the Green Bay Packers traded up to draft quarterback Jordan Love, speculation began about Aaron Rodgers future.

Here in Pittsburgh, that speculation took the form of Rodgers taking over as Steelers quarterback once Ben decides to hang it up.

When Mike Florio of joined The PM Team, this topic came up and Mike admitted the Steelers were one of the first teams he thought of when figuring out how Rodgers finishes out his career.

"The Steelers are one of the teams I thought about," Florio said.  "I thought of the Raiders and the Steelers.'

So why would those two teams make sense?

"I think Rodgers is highly motivated to never be regarded as the villain.  To never be viewed as the bad guy.  He's going to do the opposite of [Brett] Favre.  Favre couldn't wait to get to a team in the NFC North to compete with the Packers.  I think Rodgers will try to get as far away as possible.  Go to a team in the other conference.  And the Steelers, that would make a hell of a lot of sense to me."

Florio also talked about why Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette still hasn't been traded   Click the audio below to hear from Florio on these topics and more.
