PITTSBURGH (93.7 The FAN) - NFL Insider John Clayton joined the show for his weekly segment to discuss potential changes to the NFL Preseason, the likelihood of Colin Kaepernick being signed by a club and his expectations for player-led protests when the season begins.

Even though the Steelers are scheduled to play five preseason games this year, multiple reports say the 2020 NFL Preseason could be condensed. John believs this put the Steelers' hopes of playing in the Hall of Fame game in jeoparody.

"I think that there's a growing chance that there may not be a Hall of Fame game, based on some of the things that are coming down," he said.

With regards to Kaepernick, John is not confident that he will get a shot with a team in 2020.

"Talentwise there's no questions," John said. "He's still young enough to be able to do it, but I still questions if it's going to happen. I don't think it will.

John also shared the origin story of how his infamous "This is SportsCenter" commerical - complete with Slayer t-shirt, leftover Chinese food and ponytail - came to be.
