Steelers Sign Johnny Holton To Practice Squad

PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) -- The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Monday that they have finalized their 10-man practice squad after signing wide receiver Johnny Holton.

Holton signed with the Steelers in May and had seven receptions for 167 years and one touchdown during the preseason.


He also had four kickoff returns for 81 years and, during the Carolina preseason game, had three catches for 86 years and a 31-yard touchdown reception.

Holton joins the practice squad along with running back Trey Edmunds, receiver Tevin Jones, tight ends Kevin Rader and Christian Scotland-Williamons, offensive lineman Patrick Morris and Derwin Grey, defensive backs Marcus Allen and Trevon Mathis, linebacker Robert Spillane, and defensive lineman Henry Mondeaux.
