PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) -- The New England Patriots tried to trade for Antonio Brown in March, new reports are stating Sunday.

NFL Insider Adam Schefter tweeted out Sunday that the Patriots made a move for Brown in March but the Steelers did not want to trade him to a rival team.

According to Chris Mortensen of ESPN, the Patriots offered a first-round pick to the Steelers, but the Steelers declined.
