PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - Whether Bryan Reynolds is having a great day, a good day or a bad day, he carries himself the same way as he looks for ways to help the Pittsburgh Pirates on the field.

He continues to impress with his play in his rookie season both in the field with his defense and at the plate with his bat.

Reynolds flashed the leather in the 2nd inning as he robbed Brewers Third Baseman Mike Moustakas of a home run to keep the game at 1-0. It was the second time this season that he has robbed a home run, the first run coming in St. Louis.

"I just kind of ran back there, jumped and caught it," said Reynolds. "Nothing to in depth, I was playing pretty deep so I got to kind of time it up, glance at the wall, see how much room I had and jumped."

At the plate, Reynolds is batting .337 with 23 doubles, 2 triples, 10 home runs and 45 RBI in 89 games this season.

"I feel good, I feel like I'm seeing the ball well, trying to get the barrel to it the best I can and put the barrel it and from there just let things, whatever's going to happen, happen." said Reynolds.

Reynolds could finally have enough at-bats to qualify for a batting title right now as after the game Monday night he is tied with Jeff McNeil of the New York Mets with a .337 batting average.  And when asked if he ever takes a glance at where he ranks among the league leaders?

"I'm not worried about that, really, however it ends up, it ends up," said Reynolds. "I'm not going to think about that."

And the question that everyone wants to know, how do you stay so calm about everything?

"I don't know," said Reynolds. "Just keep everything in perspective I guess."
