PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - There will be no disciplinary hearing by the NHL for Capitals forward Tom Wilson after his hit knocked Penguins defenseman Brian Dumoulin out of game two.

Dumoulin was hit in the head by Wilsons shoulder in the second period of Sunday’s 4-1 Pittsburgh loss to Washington.

The extent of Dumoulin injury is unknown; more details may or may not be revealed after Monday’s practice in Cranberry but he was on the ice in a non-contact jersey.

Pens Coach Mike Sullivan says he has an opinion on the hit but would not share it with reporters after Game two Sunday.

Wilson says the hit was not intentional. “It’s hockey, it happens really fast.”
