Penguins 2019-20 Schedule Released

The Pens kick off the new season with a 4-game homestand

PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - The Pittsburgh Penguins 2019-20 schedule has been released.

The Team kicks off the season with a four-game homestand, beginning with the season opener against the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday, October 3 at 7:00 p.m.

They’ll then take on the Columbus Blue Jackets on October 5, Winnipeg Jets on October 8 and Ahaheim Ducks on October 10.

Pittsburgh Penguins fans will have plenty of opportunities to see the team early on in the year, as the Penguins will open up their 2019-20 slate with a season-long four-game homestand. Seven of the Penguins’ first nine games will be played at PPG Paints Arena.

The Penguins have another four-game homestand in February against Tampa Bay, Montreal, Detroit and Toronto.

The Penguins first road trip of the season is in Minnesota for a game against the Wild on October 12 and Winnipeg on October 13.

Philadelphia comes to Pittsburgh for the first time on October 29. The New York Islanders, who swept the Pens last season come to Pittsburgh on November 19.

Marc Andre Fleury and the Vegas Golden Knights come to PPG Paints Arena October 19

The Stanley Cup Champion St. Louis Blues come to Pittsburgh on December 4 and the Washington Capitals don’t come to Pittsburgh until March 7. They come back March 22.

The Penguins wrap up the season April 4 in Ottawa against the Senators.
