Penguins Announce Big Screen Coming Back For All Home Playoff Games

The screen will be at a new location this year, the corner of Centre Avenue and Logan Street

PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - The Big Screen is coming back! The Penguins announced the KeyBank Big Screen will that has been outside for all playoff home game for over a decade now will once again be back but at a new location.

The new location will be at the corner of Centre Avenue and Logan Street, “directly across from PPG Paints Arena. Logan Street will be closed to vehicular traffic between Centre and Wylie Avenue for home games.”


The area will open two hours before the home games time with local band performing along with hockey skills activities and free face painting and “There will be a Coors Light party tent outside the Highmark Gate, near the Mario Lemieux statue”.

The Penguins are also once again calling for a “Gold Out” this playoff season and will hand out gold shirts and towels to those heading into PPG Paints Arena.

The series kicks off Wednesday in New York. Games 3 and 4 will be in Pittsburgh on Sunday and Tuesday respectively.
