PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - It wouldn’t be the NHL playoffs in Pittsburgh without it. The Penguins are bringing back the big screen for all home playoff games at PPG Paints arena.

The Penguins announced in a news release the screen will once again be at the Peoples Gate at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Washington Place.

Plenty of family friendly activities will be available for fans outside as well.

The Penguins are also once again calling for a “Gold-Out” during the playoffs with gold t-shirts and towels being distributed to fans that pass through the turnstiles.

You can also get a free yard sign. The Penguins says “fans may pick up free playoff yards signs at Pittsburgh area DICK'S Sporting Goods locations while supplies last. The signs are provided by DICK'S Sporting Goods.”

The puck drops on the 2018 NHL Playoffs in Pittsburgh this Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. when the Penguins take on cross-state rival Philadelphia Flyers.
