PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - Penguins captain Sidney Crosby is still out of the lineup but says he is making progress and could return sometime this week.

Unfortunately for center Matt Cullen, it looks like his injury is going to keep him out for possibly an extended time.

“Matt Cullen is going to be longer term with a lower-body injury,” said Penguins coach Mike Sullivan.

The 42-year-old Cullen was injured during Saturday’s 6-4 loss against the Ottawa Senators.

Cullen, who scored a goal against the Sens was seen after the game with ice on his foot.

There is currently no timetable for Cullen’s return.
