PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled goaltender Tristan Jarry from the Baby Pens but it’s not clear why.

Fan Penguins Insider Jason Mackey of the Post-Gazette said that both goaltenders Matt Murray and Casey DeSmith practiced and everything looked normal.

The Penguins announced Jarry will meet the team in New York on Wednesday for game one of the Stanley Cup Playoffs against the Islander.

Jarry played in two games for Pittsburgh this year, going 0-1-1.
