Pens Start Preseason Games In Three Months

PITTSBURGH (93.7 the Fan) – The Pens will again play six preseason games with action starting Tuesday, September 18th at Buffalo.  The games against the three closest teams with games also at Detroit (September 19) and Columbus (September 28)

The home games are consecutive starting Saturday, September 22nd against Columbus at 3p, Sunday, September 23rd hosting Detroit also at 3p and Wednesday, September 26 against the Sabres at 7p.

Pitt football is away on September 22nd at North Carolina with a yet-to-be-determined start time and the Steelers play on Monday Night that weekend at Tampa Bay, so no local NFL conflict.

Other dates of note for the Pens—the NHL Draft is in Dallas next Friday and Saturday, June 22-23.  Prospect camp starting on June 27th with more information coming on the event usually held at the Lemieux UPMC Sports Complex in Cranberry.  Sunday, July 1 at noon is the start of NHL free agency.
