PITTSBURGH (93.7 The FAN) - When the Pirates traded for Chris Arhcer from the Tampa Bay Rays, we were told the Player To Be Named Later would be someone fans knew and it would sting.

Today, we learned that on top of Tyler Glasnow and Austin Meadows going to the Rays, 2017 first round draft pick, Shane Baz would also be packing his bags for Tampa.

The right-handed starting pitcher was selected 12th overall and was just named the Appalachian League after throwing 9.2 inning of shutout ball with 12 strikeouts.

On the year, Baz had a 3.97 ERA in 45.1 innings.
