Pirates' Jordan Lyles Put On 10-Day IL With Hamstring Tightness

ATLANTA (93.7 The Fan) - Another Pirates starter is going on the Injured List. The team announced Monday that Jordan Lyles is going on the 10-day IL.

The right-handed pitching Lyles has left hamstring tightness.

RHP Montana DuRapau has been called up from Triple-A Indianapolis to takes Lyles spot.

Through mid-May Lyles was the team’s most consistent starter posting a record of 4-1 and a 1.97 ERA.

Since then in 18.2 innings he has given up 16 earned runs. The Pirates lost three of those four games.

He’s currently 5-3 and a 3.64 ERA
