PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Pitt football coach Pat Narduzzi announced Friday that he has fired offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Shawn Watson and wide receivers coach Kevin Sherman.

In a statement Narduzzi said “I want to thank Shawn and Kevin for their efforts and dedication to our program.”

“Certainly we wish them and their families the very best in their future endeavors,” added Narduzzi

Watson spent two seasons as offensive coordinator with Pitt; Sherman coached the receivers the past four seasons.

Pitt finished the season 7-7 with an ACC conference record of 6-3, good enough for the university’s first Coastal Division Championship.

Pitt lost the ACC Championship game to Clemson 42-10 and lost the Sun Bowl to Stanford 14-13.
