Pitt Football To Wear Special Decal Honoring Synagogue Shooting Victims

The Panthers will wear them during Friday's game against Virginia

PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - Pitt Panthers football has announced they will wear a special decal on their helmet during Friday night’s game at Virginia to honor the victims of Saturday shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue in Squirrel Hill.

The phrase “Pittsburgh Strong” appears on the back of the helmet with a Star of David in between the two words.

Pitt Athletics added that their teams will wear a tribute to the victims and people of squirrel hill that says “Stronger Than Hate”.
